Radiation and cardiovascular disease
Abstract
Cardiovascular disease and cancer are the two leading causes of death in the US (1). By year 2030, it is estimated that there will be more than 22.1 million cancer survivors in US (2). With increasing cancer survivorship, further emphasis has been placed on reducing cancer treatment related cardiotoxicity.
