Extracorporeal life support (ECLS) is used for patients in isolated or combined cardiopulmonary failures.This focus issue includes ECLS used in pediatric lung transplantation evaluation, analgosedation and antithrombotic management, refractory ventricular tachycardia, pre and post lung transplant period, etc.
