Hamid Rahmatullah Bin Abd Razak, MBBS

Dr Hamid was born in Singapore on May the 8th, 1985. He completed his basic Medical degree in 2009 at the National University of Singapore. Subsequently, he pursued residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery and completed his specialty training in 2018. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons on Edinburgh and currently serves as an Associate Consultant at Sengkang General Hospital (Singapore). He has a keen interest in joint preservation surgery of the hip and knee.

With regards to scientific activity, he has published more than 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals and has participated in several national, regional and international congresses. He has published key research articles in reputable journals such as Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery (American Volume). Dr Hamid is also an Associate Editor of BMC Musculoskeletal Disorders as well as Frontiers. 

His main areas of research include clinical outcomes as well as biomechanics. Dr Hamid has been accepted into the MD (Res) program at Imperial College London in 2019 and will be working closely with bioengineers as well as Orthopaedic surgeons to explore biomechanical intervention in arthritis prevention.
