Dr. Lu is associate chief physician, deputy chief of the Department of Essential Surgery of Nanjing Jiangning Hospital, and associate professor at Nanjing Medical University. He is also a member of Jiangsu Society of Immunology Regional Transplant and Immunology Branch. He has been involved in the clinical practice, teaching, and scientific research in surgery for two decades, with the main research interests including diagnosis and surgical treatment of liver, gallbladder, pancreas and spleen diseases as well as the emergency treatment of abdominal infections and severe trauma. He has completed one research project supported by the National Natural Science Fund and is serving as the principal investigator for 1 project supported by provincial scientific research fund and 1 project supported by municipal scientific research fund. He is the responsible person for 3 continuing medical education (CME) projects in Jiangsu Province and 1 education reform project sponsored by Nanjing Medical University. As the first author or corresponding author, he has published 3 academic articles in Chinese Medical Association-sponsored journals and 6 articles in Chinese-language core journals indexed by Peking University Library. He has been awarded as the Nanjing Jiangning Advanced Science & Technology Worker.
