Swaroop Revannasiddaiah is an assistant professor, in the department of Radiation Oncology, Government Medical College at Haldwani, Nainital in India. After completion of MD in radiation oncology from the Regional Cancer Centre- Shimla in India, he was trained in ‘advanced radiotherapy techniques including conformal, intensity modulated, image-guided and stereotactic radiotherapy at the Bangalore Institute of Oncology between July 2012 and February 2013. Dr. Revannasiddaiah also holds experience in the use of chemotherapeutic agents, biological agents and radiation response modifiers. He holds experience in biostatistics and clinical research as well.

Dr. Revannasiddaiah holds the opinion that the current state of the science in oncology is premature and that much efforts needs to be put in research to improve the future of oncology. While endorsing evidence based clinical practice at all times, he also invests a significant amount of time and thought regarding the possible improvements and innovations that can be inculcated into current practice. He holds a strong ethics driven approach towards patients, while acknowledging the need for personalized treatments. Also he happens to be a keen equity trader with a sound knowledge of technical chart analysis and fundamentals. Dr. Revannasiddaiah is a very avid lover of nature, with a deep attachment for Himalayan trekking and photography.
