Hua Liu, MD, PhD (Chronic Airway Inflammatory Diseases)
Associate chief physician, Department of Respiratory Medicine, Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University, Nantong , P.R.China
He graduated from Nanjing Medical University and received MD, Ph.D in 2008. Now, he is committee member of Jiangsu Medical Association Respiratory Branch. He is also a master tutor of Nantong University and deputy director of respiratory medicine. He is a visiting scholar of University of California, Los Angeles, U.S.A. Since 2012, he has been an asthmatic group member of Jiangsu Province Medical Society. Professor Hua Liu’s main research fields are chronic airway disease (mainly bronchial asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) and pulmonary infectious disease, he is particularly interested in inflammatory pathogenesis of bronchial asthma. He is the key talent of “Jiangsu 333 project and Nantong 226 project”.
At present, professor Hua Liu is implementing five projects at different levels: national natural science foundation (NO: 30971306); jiangsu province "six big talent peak" project (NO: 033); Nantong science and technology research project (NO: s2009023). He has published more than 30 papers on his research interests, eight papers were indexed by SCI journals. As a deputy editor-in-chief, He published a monograph in 2007: Practical Internal Medicine Ward Rounds and consultations.
