Tao Jin, is a senior Cardiothoracic Surgeon, as well as the director of both Science Department and International Cooperation Department of Zhejiang Provincial People’s Hospital since 2012. Before that, he has been working as a surgeon at the 1st Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University from 2000 to 2012.

Dr. Jin got his M.D. from Peking Union Medical College (8-year M.D. program) in 2000, and his M.P.H. from Johns Hopkins Unviersity in 2009. He used to be a research fellow in China Medical Board (A Branch of Rockefeller Foundation) from Nov 2009 to Nov 2010, reviewing all kinds of proposals related with nursing, medical and public health. In 2010, he was appointed as Master Instructor by School of Medicine, Zhejiang University.

Dr. Jin has broad research interests from basic science to public health, and directed several research projects, among them, one grant is from WHO about electric bicycle. He published dozens of peer-review manuscripts, including a perspective article in Lancet.
