Dr. Francesco Mancuso was born in San Vito al Tagliamento (Italy) on October the 23rd, 1983. He has taken the degree in Medicine in 2008 and the specializationin Orthopaedics and Traumatology in 2014. He currently serves as Orthopaedics and Traumatology Surgeon at the General Hospital of Tolmezzo (Udine, Italy).
His main interests include lower limb surgery (especially hip and knee replacement) and sport medicine.
As regards the scientific activity, he has published especially on knee replacement. He has participated to more than 50 national and international congresses and has given more than 20 lectures to national and international meetings. In 2013, he attended the EFORT Travelling Fellowship in Greece. In 2015, he was awarded for the best orthopaedics picture at the Italian Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology national congress and in 2017 he was awarded for the best free paper about proximal femoral fractures at the Trauma Meeting.
Francesco Mancuso is also Peer Reviewer for Journal of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (JOOT).
He is member of the Italian Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (SIOT), of the ItalianSociety of Hospital Orthopaedics and Traumatology Surgeons (OTODI) and of the Girdlestone Orthopaedic Society (GOS).
