Hai-Feng Li, MD, PhD

Dr. Li is a Full Professor of Neurology at Qilu Hospital of Shandong University. He is a qualified Neurologist who works at Qilu Hospital of Shandong University. He focuses on clinical, immunological and genetics researches in neuroimmunological diseases, especially in myasthenia gravis (MG). He leads a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to care and treat MG patients and a MG cohort research to improve the understanding, diagnosis and prognosis of MG. His research interest also includes multiple sclerosis and related demyelinating diseases of central nervous system, demyelinating diseases of peripheral nervous system including Guillain-Barre syndrome and chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, and clinical epidemiology.

He received his MD Degree in Shandong Medical University (1994) and Ph.D. Degree in Beijing Medical University (1999). He worked in Karolinska Institute as a visiting scholar in 2009.

He has published more than 40 original research papers in peer-reviewed journals, and more than 10 correspondences/letters in leading medical journal, including New Engl J Med, Lancet, Lancet Neurol and JACC. He is also the principal investigator for two projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China and one projects of Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province.
