Dr Cheng received his MD degree in Harbin Medical University and will completed a joint-PhD program between University of Notre Dame (US) and Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine (China). He is a surgeon works on general surgery subfield, especially for digestive system malignant tumor, focusing on ERAS principle and Single incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS) procedure in abdominal surgery. His research is focusing on immunotherapy, target therapy and new biomarker on digestive system malignant tumor. He is member of AACR (American Association of Cancer Research) and EACR (European Association of Cancer Research), meanwhile he is also work as editorial board member of “Chinese Journal of General Surgery”. He has more than 20 publications in peer-reviewed journals such as: P.N.A.S, Genes Developments, Cancer Research and so on with 14 papers listed as first author or co-first author, also he works as a reviewer for several scientific journals.
