Qi Zhang, MD

Dr. Zhang, who had a Bachelor’s degree in Science and a Medical Doctor’s degree in Surgery, finished his postdoctoral training in US National Cancer Institute. He received clinical training in the Second Affiliated Hospital Zhejiang University School of Medicine (SAHZU, China) and University of Colorado Hospital (US).

Currently, Dr. Zhang is a clinical fellow in Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery of SAHZU, and an MA student adviser of Zhejiang University. He is specialized in clinical and translational studies and immunotherapy of hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancers. Dr. Zhang’s study has been financially supported by National Science Foundation of China and Medicine and Technology Project of Zhejiang Province. He published 50 papers in SCI journals including Hepatology, Nature Communications, Clinical Cancer Research, Cancer Research, and Oncogene. He was honored by the Science Award of Zhejiang Province (First Prize) and the Medicine and Technology Award of Zhejiang Province (First Prize). Dr. Zhang was invited for oral presentation in EASL annual meeting and AHPBA annual meeting.

Now he is the member of Pancreas Youth Elite Club, the member of Pancreatic Disease Committee and the member of Gastrointestinal Tumor Committee of Chinese Research Hospital Association, and the member Tumor Cause Committee of Zhejiang Anti-Cancer Association. He also acts as the member of Editorial Board of Word Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery, and the Section Editor of Annals of Translational Medicine. He reviews for journals including Cancer Letters, Journal of Experimental & Clinical Cancer Research, Cellular Physiology and Biochemistry, International Journal of Oncology, Tumor Biology, World Journal of Gastroenterology, Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B. Dr. Zhang was the R&D project leader of Oasis Biotechnology Inc. (US).
