Dr. Wenjian Jiang is a qualified Cardiac and Aortic Surgeon who works at department of Cardiac Surgery, Beijing Anzhen Hospital, Capital Medical University, Beijing, China. He is also a researcher of Beijing Lab for Cardiovascular Precision Medicine. The research team focuses on the clinical and basic research of aortic diseases.
He received his MD Degree and PhD of Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery in Capital Medical University, China and completed his Cardiac Surgery Residency at Department of Cardiac Surgery, Beijing Anzhen Hospital.
He was a joint PhD student at Center of Heart Research, the Westmead Institute for Medical Research, Sydney University and an observer at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, the St Vincent’s Hospital, and the Heart Centre for Children, the Children's Hospital at Westmead.
In 2015, he was awarded with the 1st Grade Winner of Youth Papers of Chinese Society for Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. The project was entitled: The role of Hippo signal transduction pathway in the development of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. He has published or coauthored 25 papers in peer-reviewed journals, and he is also a reviewer of many scientific journals.
