Dr. Jichun Zhou is a qualified Surgical Oncologist who works at Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Hangzhou, China. His clinical work mainly focuses on providing comprehensive treatment for patients with breast and thyroid cancer. His research of interests lie in delineating the mechanism of endocrine resistance of breast cancer and molecular events in the evolution of breast cancer.
He received his MD Degree in Clinical Medicine from Zhejiang University and Zhejiang Chinese Medical University. He received his PhD Degree in Oncology from a Joint PhD program by Yale University and Zhejiang University. Besides, He completed his postdoctoral training at Yale University.
He is now serving as Young and Middle-aged editorial member of Chinese Journal of Breast Disease (Electronic Edition), Journal of Multidisciplinary Cancer Management (Electronic Version) and E-Journal of Translational Medicine. In 2017, he was awarded with the Most Potential Chinese Young Oncologist (35 under 35) from Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology (CSCO).
He is serving as the principal investigator or co-investigator for serval projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC). He has published or coauthored more than 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals, including PNAS, Nature Communications, Oncogene, Nucleic Acids Research and EMBO Molecular Medicine, and he is also a reviewer of many scientific journals.
