Wei Dai, Ph.D.

Professor, Departments of Environmental Medicine, Biochemistry, and Molecular Pharmacology, New York University School of Medicine

Prof. Dai’s research interest is focused on the function of molecular components in cell cycle regulation and in suppression tumorigenesis.

Prof. Dai’s Lab studied several important cell cycle/mitotic regulators including BubR1, Sgo1, and Plk3 using a combination of cellular, molecular and mouse genetic approaches and have revealed that BubR1, Sgo1, and Plk3 play an important role in the maintenance of chromosomal stability and suppression of tumor formation.
