Jun Chen, MD (Colorectal Surgery)

Dr. Chen serves as a colorectal surgeon in The Fifth People's Hospital of Shanghai which is affiliated to Fudan University for couple of years. He got his MD and MSC degree both from Chinese TOP 5 Medical University with excellent GPT and performance. In 2011, he went to Shanghai Changhai Hospital for clinical fellowship training in the Department of Colorectal Surgery and Endoscopy Center. He mastered bunch of technique of clinical practice on colorectal cancer and benign diseases. Nevertheless, he had lots of experiences on basic and clinical researches. He was once the PI or Co-PI of 3 studies funded by Natural Science Foundation of Minhang District and Shanghai. Now he is a research fellow and senior visiting scholar of Cleveland Clinic Florida, under the supervising of one of most leading experts and pioneers—-Dr. Steven D Wexner. He has 3 projects ongoing funded and supported by Cleveland Clinic. He is also a candidate member of American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeon(ASCRS) as well as a peer reviewer of Journal of Clinical and Pathological Research. In 2015, as one of pioneers, he founded a new Pelvic Floor MDT Center in his hospital, which mainly focused on the physiology and treatment of pelvic floor diseases. He was a co-writer of 3 books and published 8 scientific papers, of which 2 was indexed SCI. He also holds a patent of transanal operation platform.
