Keng Ang, PhD, FRCSEd (C-Th) (Cardiothoracic Surgery)

Keng Ang received his higher Cardiothoracic Training in the UK and has been awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (Cardiothoracic Surgery). He has also been awarded a PhD degree for his research in stem cells for myocardial repair. 

His main interests include: minimally invasive thoracic surgery, oesophageal diseases, and stem cells. He has published in several indexed journals, including Nature Cardiovascular Science, European Heart Journal and the Annals of Thoracic Surgery. He also presented his work in numerous International conferences such as American Association of Thoracic Surgery Annual Conference, International Society for Diseases of Esophagus World Congress, and the American Heart Association Late- breaking clinical trial sessions.
