TY - JOUR AU - Hou, Xiaowen AU - Chen, Huisheng PY - 2019 TI - Proposed antithrombotic strategy for acute ischemic stroke with large-artery atherosclerosis: focus on patients with high-risk transient ischemic attack and mild-to-moderate stroke JF - Annals of Translational Medicine; Vol 8, No 1 (January 10, 2020): Annals of Translational Medicine (Focus on "Neurological Diseases") Y2 - 2019 KW - N2 - An effective antithrombotic strategy is required to prevent the recurrence and aggravation of large-artery atherosclerosis (LAA) stroke, especially in high-risk transient ischemic attack (TIA) and acute mild ischemic stroke. Based on clinical evidence, atherosclerotic thrombosis theory, antithrombotic treatment guidelines of acute myocardial infarction (AMI), and previous studies, a new antithrombotic strategy “early administration, enhanced therapy, combination therapy, short-term therapy, and sequential therapy” was proposed in this study. Multicenter randomized trials are needed in the future to verify the efficacy of the strategy. UR - https://atm.amegroups.org/article/view/32259
