Classification criteria in Sjögren’s syndrome

Sjögren’s syndrome (SS) is a heterogeneous disease characterized by a wide spectrum of clinical manifestations ranging from a benign exocrinopathy to a complex systemic disorder (1-3). Over the years several criteria set have been proposed for the classification of the disease.
